Après 1 an de rénovation, nous ouvrons en famille les portes de cette bâtisse du XVIII ème siècle sur le port vieux de La Ciotat, hébergeant la 4 hébergements d’exception & une pièce bureau, le tout réparti sur 2 étages ouverts à la réservation depuis Février 2024.

CASA ABEILLE a été rénové et décoré en famille en 2023.

Dominique, mamma architecte qui excelle dans la rénovation de l’ancien a su organiser avec talent le calendrier de ce chantier entourée de son équipe féminine composée de ses propres filles. Chacune apportant son propre savoir faire et son expérience passée. Le choix des teintes de RESSOURCE PEINTURES a été pensé par Marine, la troisième sœur, architecte d’intérieure ( Studio Quel Pot ) , l’artisanat mexicain PI-PROJECT d’Ariane, la deuxième soeur, sublime les espaces par ses matières . CASA ABEILLE est gérée par Camille & Jeanne la sœur ainée et la cadette, toutes deux diplômées de l École hôtelière de Lausanne, l’une à la gestion de l’exploitation, la deuxième comme cheffe financière.

Pourquoi CASA ABEILLE ?
Parce que les génois investirent La Ciotat il y’a quelques siècles, notre famille originaire de LA SPEZIA a participé à l’ouverture du chantier naval de La Ciotat , les abeilles ornent les tuiles en terre cuite de notre toiture, Mr Adolphe Abeille était un ciotaden et Capitaine au 7e régiment de chasseurs. Membre de la Société d’anthropologie de Paris, et de l’Association pour l’encouragement des études grecques en France .

Les abeilles s’invitent, tuiles de terre cuite habillées d’abeille, serviettes en nid d’abeille dans la salle de bain, gel douche au miel …

CASA ABEILLE was renovated and decorated as a family project in 2023.

Dominique, the mother and architect who excels in restoring historic buildings, skillfully managed the renovation timeline with the help of her all-female team composed of her own daughters. Each brought her own expertise and experience. The color palette from RESSOURCE PAINTS was thoughtfully selected by Marine, the third sister and interior architect (Studio Quel Pot). Mexican artisan work by Ariane, the second sister, enhances the spaces with rich materials. CASA ABEILLE is managed by Camille and Jeanne, the eldest and youngest sisters, both graduates of the École hôtelière de Lausanne — one handling operations, the other the financial management.

Why CASA ABEILLE?

Because centuries ago, the Genoese invested in La Ciotat, and our family, originally from La Spezia, took part in opening the La Ciotat shipyard. The bees adorn the terracotta roof tiles of our mansion, named after Mr. Adolphe Abeille, a native of La Ciotat and Captain in the 7th Chasseurs Regiment. He was a member of the Paris Anthropological Society and the Association for the Promotion of Greek Studies in France.

Bees are everywhere: terracotta tiles adorned with bees, honeycomb-patterned towels in the bathroom, honey-infused shower gel…
