C’est une collection de sites d’hébergements d’exception, géré et créé par des professionnels de l’hôtellerie depuis 2013. Ni « chambres d’hôtes » ni « maisons d’hôtes » puisque nous ne vivons pas sur place. Nous sommes quand même présents à tout moment, entre deux chambres, avec nos équipes, avec vous, ce qui explique nos statuts de  «Chambres en ville», « Maison en ville », « hôtel particulier », « loft »,  » casa »,  » villa ». Toutes nos arrivées sont autonomes, l’avantage, vous arrivez quand vous le souhaitez dès l’heure d’arrivée autorisée

This is a curated collection of outstanding accommodation sites, created and managed by hospitality professionals since 2013.Not quite “guesthouses” or traditional B&Bs — as we don’t live on site — yet we are always present, just nearby, between two rooms, with our teams, and with you. That’s why we prefer to describe our places as “City Rooms,” “Townhouse,” “Loft,” “Casa »… All arrivals are fully self check in — giving you the freedom to check in at your convenience from the designated arrival time.

Pourquoi / Why LA MAISON DE FAMILLE ?

Parce que notre famille est un témoignage, un album photos sans fin. La sixième génération vit aujourd’hui dans notre toute première maison de famille à La Ciotat vers le quartier du Picoussin. Un terrain que Marius, le cousin adoré d’Odette avait acheté pour sa tante Bernardine, couturière ciotadenne, pour qu’elle soit la voisine de la tante rose. Vous suivez ? Eux, nous ont transmis cet amour pour La Ciotat, notre choix de vie où nos enfants grandissent entre mer et colline. Aujourd’hui, nous vous transmettons ce savoir vivre en vous accueillant dans nos hébergements chargés d’histoire, configurés et aménagés avec detail et sensibilité.

Because our family is a living story — a never-ending photo album. Today, the sixth generation lives in our very first family home in La Ciotat, nestled in the ; neighborhood. The land was once purchased by Marius, Odette’s beloved cousin for his aunt Bernardine, a local seamstress, so she could be neighbors with Aunt Rose. Are you still following? They passed on to us their deep love for La Ciotat. A life choice we carry forward — between sea and hills — where our children now grow up. And now, it’s our turn to pass this art of living on to you, by welcoming you into places full of history, thoughtfully designed and arranged with care, detail, and sensitivity.

Qui gère / Who is in LA MAISON DE FAMILLE ?

Dominique et Camille, mère et fille, 4ème et 5ème génération de la famille, nées à La Ciotat et ses environs, installées définitivement à La Ciotat, on l’espère … Nous avouons une passion commune pour les voyages qui ont bercé nos vacances. Les logements atypiques nous les avons tous testés, roulotte en Camargue, toit de chaume à Maurice, bergerie dans les Cévennes, caravane en Normandie, agriturismo en Italie, phare à Porquerolles, château en Auvergne, B&B à Brighton.

Notre famille uni ses forces et devient complémentaire dans notre dernier site né en 2024 CASA ABEILLE. Jeannette la caganis, a finalement préféré la tour Eiffel à la baie d’Hong Kong et descend régulièrement se baigner à La Ciotat, Ariane folle d’artisanat a posé ses valises au Mexique mais garde un pied à terre ciotaden  PI-PROJECT.COM,  Marine après 12 ans à Paris a récemment ouvert son studio d’architecte intérieure QUEL POT dans le centre ciotaden

A Family Story — of Women, Travel, and Beloved Places

Dominique and Camille — mother and daughter, representing the 4th and 5th generations of the family — were born in and around La Ciotat.
Today, they’ve both settled here for good… or so they hope! What they’ve always shared is a passion for travel, which shaped every family vacation.                    

They’ve tried every kind of unique stay:
a gypsy caravan in the Camargue, a thatched-roof cottage in Mauritius, a shepherd’s hut in the Cévennes, a vintage trailer in Normandy, an agriturismo in Italy, a lighthouse in Porquerolles, a château in Auvergne, a B&B in Brighton…

In 2024, the family joined forces to launch their latest project: CASA ABEILLE, a one-of-a-kind place, reflecting their shared tastes and personalities. Jeannette, the caganis (the youngest of the family), eventually traded Hong Kong Bay for the Eiffel Tower — but still comes down to La Ciotat for a swim whenever she can. Ariane, a passionate artisan, now lives in Mexico but keeps a home base in La Ciotat. She’s behind the project PI-PROJECT.COM. Marine, after 12 years in Paris, recently opened her interior design studio QUEL POT in the heart of La Ciotat.
